Body camera footage of rapper Polo G going off on police officers following his album release party surfaced. The footage seemingly made Polo G look like the verbal aggressor in the situation. Still, his lawyer Bradford Cohen has now called out Miami PD for releasing the “heavily redacted” footage.
The Miami Police Department has denied releasing the footage, but Cohen is saying this incident is something he’s never experienced in his decades as a lawyer. Cohen claims the police released “the parts that disparage the defendant.” The lawyer then elaborated, “They didn’t show him getting slammed to the ground or the reason why he was pulled over. Of course, they wouldn’t show that.”
