T-Pain Says He’s Made More Money in Gaming Than in Music Over Last 4 Years
T-Pain was a recent guest on Steve-O’s podcast Wild Ride with Steve-O where he talked about the peaks and valleys of his career in music. “I’m making more money off of video games than I have made in the last four years,” he admitted. “Just playing them. Playing video games.”
During the latter part of the conversation, however, T-Pain discussed his entry into the digital space through NFTs and gaming on Twitch. He also revealed how lucrative of a venture it’s turned out to be.
Apparently T-Pain isn’t very good at the games but somehow that’s the charm of his channel. That coupled with his already-established celebrity status, T-Pain boasts 845K followers. “There are definitely good players out there that make a ton of money, but I think the entertainment that comes from somebody like me being trash at it, that’s just more valuable and more entertaining.”
