Young Dolph Producer Bandplay Parents Reportedly Murdered By Younger Brother

Famed producer Bandplay, who is known for his work on projects with Key Glock and Young Dolph, experienced tragedy after his dad and stepmother, 56-year-old Christopher Gaines and 51-year-old Katrina Gaines, were brutally murdered. In more shocking news, authorities believe Bandplay’s brother, Demondra Gaines, is behind the grisly murders.

The incident happened in Columbia, Tennessee, which Captain Jeremy Haywood addressed in a press conference, stating, “The Columbia Police Department is aggressively investigating the tragic double-homicide. Investigators worked throughout the night processing the crime scene and developing leads in this case. Evidence recovered from this crime scene proves the death of Christopher and Katrina Gaines to be the result of a brutal stabbing attack on the couple and that their 27-year-old son, Demondra Gaines, is responsible for this attack upon these two individuals.”

Demondra Gaines reportedly fled the scene of the murder in a 2018 Altima belonging to Katrina Gaines, and was apprehended on Tuesday (April 19) night at a motel with the stolen Altima. He is being charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault resulting in death. Gaines also faces a charge for the theft of a motor vehicle.

Bandplay confirmed the death of his father and stepmother on his Instagram page after he shared a screenshot of a story about their death along with a broken heart. He also shared a screenshot from another article revealing that there will be a vigil held for Christopher and Katrina.

  • Video of Trey Songz Exposing Woman's Breast, Accuser Comes Forward

Video of Trey Songz Exposing Woman’s Breast, Accuser Comes Forward

A new Trey Songz accuser is coming forward with allegations against the embattled R&B singer, whom she met in 2013 at an event called “Foxwoods Liquid Sundays with Trey Songz” at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT.

Megan Johnson met Trey in the VIP tent at the event, and she approached him for a picture. Someone was taking a video of their encounter, which shows Trey pulling Megan’s bathing suit top back, exposing her breasts. Trey then allegedly exclaimed, ” “T***ies in the Open” four different times.

Attorneys George Vrabeck and Ariel Mitchell fired off a letter to Trey Songz and his team, alleging that he sexually assaulted Johnson at the 2013 event. They claim that the incident humiliated Megan, who was left with lasting damage, including severe emotional distress and self-harm.

The attorneys added that Trey’s recent Las Vegas case, which was dropped, triggered Megan. This could lead to the statute of limitations being extended, as it’s usually 3 years after the incident in CT, unless the victim doesn’t recall the incident until they’re triggered.

They added that they will drop the case if Trey reaches a settlement that “exceeds $5 million dollars.”

  • Pooh Shiesty Sentenced to 63 Months in Prison Over 2020 Shooting

Pooh Shiesty Sentenced to 63 Months in Prison Over 2020 Shooting

Pooh Shiesty will spend the next several years behind bars.

On Wednesday, the 22-year-old rapper—born Lontrell Williams Jr.—received a 63-month prison sentenced in his federal firearms case. U.S. District Judge Kevin Michael Moore announced the decision Wednesday in Miami Federal Court, more than three months after Pooh Shiesty pleaded guilty to a firearms conspiracy charge stemming from an alleged armed robbery at a Florida hotel. The rapper was accused of shooting 28-year-old Brandon Cooper in October 2020, when he allegedly met up with the victim to purchase marijuana and sneakers.

Prosecutors said the illegal transaction took a drastic turn, when Pooh Shiesty and his friends took the items without paying. Pooh Shiesty was accused of shooting Cooper in the buttocks before he and his crew fled the scene in a rented McLaren. As they drove away, a bag containing more than $40,000 in cash fell from the vehicle. Police managed to link the money to the rapper by referencing a serial number on a bill that was posted on Pooh Shiesty’s Instagram.

Though Cooper survived the incident, Pooh Shiesty was ultimately charged with four counts related to the shooting; but under the 2022 plea agreement, prosecutors agreed to drop three of the original counts, including one that carried a maximum sentence of life in prison. He was facing an eight-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to the single firearms conspiracy charge.

“Listen, nobody’s happy to go to prison, but he was happy the judge listened to our argument, and the judge received the argument well. He was satisfied with the outcome,” his attorney, Bradford Cohen, told Rolling Stone. “We’re happy with the decision of the court.”

Young Dolph Murder Suspect Sentenced to 2 Years in Prison for Prior Federal Violation

One of the suspects charged in the fatal shooting of Young Dolph has been sentenced to prison for violating a previous charge.

ActionNews5 reports Justin Johnson aka Straight Drop, a 23-year-old suspect in the murder of the Memphis rapper, was sentenced on Tuesday to two years for violating terms of his supervised released relating to a past weapons charge.

Johnson pleaded guilty to violations that include “not being regularly employed, missing mandatory drug screenings and therapy, failing to seek permission before leaving the jurisdiction and being arrested.”

The news arrives less than a month after Johnson was attacked by a fellow inmate at Tennessee’s Shelby County Jail in March. According to TMZ, Johnson was punched in the face while on the phone in the jail’s visitation area. Lawyer Juni Ganguli said his client was not seriously injured, and there was no stated motive for the assault.

Back in January, Johnson was arrested along with Cornelius Smith, 32, in connection with Dolph’s murder last November. Johnson faces charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm and theft of property over $10,000.

As previously reported, Dolph’s autopsy results revealed the late rapper suffered 22 gunshot wounds, as he was shot in the chest, abdomen, chin, neck, shoulder, both arms, and multiple times in the back.
