Fake Drake Banned From Instagram for Impersonating Drizzy
Drake lookalike Izzy Drake, also known as Fake Drake has been banned from Instagram for impersonating the Toronto rapper.
The news arrives just a few days after Izzy Drake challenged the “Honestly, Nevermind” artist to a $1 million celebrity boxing match.
Izzy’s career as Drake’s doppelgänger jump-started in October 2021 when he was seen at Club LIV in Miami wearing an OVO tracksuit. Justin LaBoy and Tory Lanez posted Izzy to their Instagram Stories that night, with Lanez sharing a video of Izzy with Lil Wayne. DJ Akademiks also shared videos, and Izzy took off from there.

Since then, Drizzy has taken to Instagram to address those commenting on his new wave.
Drake revealed he’s still enjoying his life, despite what is being discussed about his album on social media. In a video posted, Drake said, “It’s all good if you don’t get it yet. That’s what we do.” He concluded by saying, “We waiting for you to catch up. We’re caught up already. On to the next. My goodness.”

Izzy gave Drake props on the new project, then seemingly confirmed he may be featured on a real Drake record in the future. Drake went on to confirm they had something in the works.
