First-week album sales numbers arrived for the rapper, for the release of his album ‘7220.’ According to reports, Durk’s album was set to debut at #1 on the U.S. albums chart. Lil Durk’s latest album reportedly sold 120,000 in the first week. This marks Durk’s first solo #1 album, according to Hits Daily Double.
Durk went on to tweet about his success, comparing himself to a rising legendary NBA player. “I can’t miss I’m like Steph [Curry] fr 🔒💙,” said Durk.

Lil Durk Responds to French Montana’s Tweet About Making Him
French Montana has been rolling out his latest album, ‘They Got Amnesia,’ and has been referencing different things via social media that he feels people don’t remember about him. The rapper has been pointing out his contributions to the game, including people he says he brought forth.
In one tweet, French went on to say, “THEY GOT AMNESIA LIKE I DIDN’T GIVE THEM CHINX DRUGZ LIL DURK AND HARRY FRAUD.” French and Durk aligned early on in Durk’s career, with Durk being affiliated with Coke Boyz, but it was only after Durk signed to Def Jam. Durk has spoken on his connection to French in the past with much praise, but now the Chicago rapper has seemingly addressed the new claim by French.
Lil Durk posted a few photos of himself via Instagram, along with the caption: “A n***a said he made me that’s the biggest cap…… 7220.”
