Trina Issues Apology For Calling Protestors “Animals”
The death of 46-year-old George Floyd has caused many to speak out about the protests, along with the rioting and looting taking place. Recently, Trina faced backlash after commenting on rioting that was taking place in many cities across America due to police brutality and injustice.
Trina called people who were looting “animals,” and immediately was called out by fans and advocates of social justice. Now, the Miami rapper has issued an apology and attempted to clarify her original statement.

Trina gets dragged on Twitter for referring to protestors as “animals” during her radio show with Trick Daddy.
“Keep everybody off the streets, these animals off the streets that are running around Miami-Dade County acting like they have escaped from a zoo,” Trina said about protesters and looters. “Lock them up at 5 p.m., so the streets can be nice and clean. That’s how I feel.”
