    Atlanta rapper Gunna denied bond by Fulton County judge

    Gunna will remain in jail after a Georgia judge denied his bond for a second time on Monday (May 23).

    The rapper, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens, is one of 28 people indicted in a sweeping RICO criminal case against YSL (Young Slime Life.)

    Gunna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, proposed a list of conditions for the rapper’s bond including a $750,000 secured bond, house arrested with electric monitoring, forgetter of three properties, and his parents offering to put up their homes.

    Prosecutor Don Geary argued that Gunna should be denied bond because he allegedly has a command position within YSL, directing hits on rival gang members.

    Sadow fired back calling the allegations false and added that Gunna has no intentions of directing hits.

    He even offered to allow a wire top on Gunna’s phones.

    Judge Ural Glanville sided with the prosecution and denied bond for the safety of the witnesses in the case.

    He set Gunna’s trial date for January 9, 2023.

I wasn’t expecting this at all.” Previously, Daijanae revealed she and Kodak have been involved since 2017 and that the rapper initially asked her to quit her job to be the mother of his children for years. He would have my dinner waiting, my bathwater ran… And with like a glass of wine.” Not stopping there, she alleged her husband would also ask if she “had fun.”

    The man who hopped on stage to attack Dave Chappelle during a stand-up set at the Hollywood Bowl is being charged with attempted murder in a separate incident involving his former roommate.

    According to reports, Isaiah Lee, 23, was charged with attempted murder in connection with a physical altercation with his roommate at a transitional housing facility ended with Lee stabbing the man. Lee pleaded not guilty to the one-count charge.

    Authorities say the publicity from the Chappelle attack helped them identify Lee and his connection to the transitional housing incident. “The publicity generated by the attack on Mr. Chappelle helped police solve this crime,” District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement. “The incident that occurred at the Hollywood Bowl was misdemeanor conduct and rightfully referred to the City Attorney’s Office. Based on the nature and severity of the December attack, Mr. Lee is now facing felony charges which my office will prosecute.”

    TMZ reports the alleged robbery took place in February, when Lil Meech put down his $80,000 platinum Rolex toward a payment on the new watch at Miami’s Haimov Jewelers. He’s accused of not paying the remaining balance and has since been booked on two counts of first-degree grand theft and a separate count of organized fraud on March 14.
