Meek Mill Gets Approval From Judge To Travel For Work

Meek Mill has been given the green light to travel for work purposes.

Last week, Meek Mill was released from prison on bail. Now, Judge Genece Brinkley has approved his travel outside of Pennsylvania for scheduled business trips, according to TMZ.

There are some conditions to this amendment. For example, Meek must submit his itinerary to the probation department 72 hours ahead of schedule.

In addition to this, Judge Brinkley is allowing Meek to live in Montgomery County. His previously bail conditions required a Philadelphia County address. Mill must meet other requirements, as well, including at least one urine test per month.

Brinkley amended the bail conditions on Friday. That same night, Mill was out in New York City with Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin. The two reportedly met with Roc Nation management over dinner.

Mill walked out of prison on Apr. 25 following a lengthy battle over his release on bail. Rubin picked him up in a helicopter and made him an honorary guest at the 76ers’ playoff game against the Miami Heat.

“I haven’t slept a minute since I got out of prison,” Meek told “NBC Nightly News.” “It’s like a culture shock coming from a small cell back into the real world, so I think my body has to adjust.”

Despite this, he said he doesn’t feel free. “I don’t feel free,” he explained. “I ain’t felt free since I caught this case at the age of 19. I’m 30 now. I pray, I believe God is my first lawyer. I always believed that and I got a strong team behind me…There’s a lot of light shed on my situation.”

6IX9INE’s Manager Under Investigation for Brooklyn Shootings

6ix9ine’s manager Tr3way is reportedly a person of interest in two separate shootings that occurred in Brooklyn.

Law enforcement officials say that Tr3way may have fired a shot inside of Barclays Center. The shot was due to an altercation with 6ix9ine’s rival Casanova and his camp during a boxing bout between Adrien Broner and Jessie Vargas. Earlier that day, cops say that Tr3way may have also fired two shots at a car that was trailing 6ix9ine’s vehicle. Police sources believe the shooter in both surveillance videos resembles Tr3way.

Witnesses say that Tr3way jumped out of the car and shot at a vehicle that was following them. 6ix9ine reportedly appears in the video wearing a hood, so his signature neon hair is not visible.

Kodak Black Gets Gun Charges Dropped; Will Serve 6 Months In Jail

Kodak Black got some good news that will help him get out much sooner than expected.

    TMZ reports:

The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, says the 2 remaining charges from the January raid of his Florida home have been dropped. The charges were for marijuana possession and possession of ammunition.

Kodak also admitted 2 other probation violation charges. The violations were driving with a suspended license and associating with people engaged in criminal activity. He’ll get credit for time served, which puts him in line for an October release with good behavior.

Once the rapper’s free, the remaining year of house arrest and 4 years of probation will be wiped from his slate, according to Cohen. He adds, “Kodak [and I] are extremely happy to resolve this case with an excellent resolution. It was very nice to deal with a fair judge who understood the circumstances — along with prosecutors.”

As was reported, Kodak was arrested after an Instagram Live video alerted cops to criminal activity, and he was hit with 7 charges. He was looking at around 12 years behind bars, until 3 charges were initially dropped.
