Man with monkeypox says just being awake is excruciating.
HOUSTON, Texas — There are now 57 cases of confirmed monkeypox in the Houston region with 183 across the state, according to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.
“It hurts to exist. Because my face isn’t touching anything. It’s not like sleeping on a pillow, ‘Oh it hurts.’ It just hurts to exist to the open air,” Wesley Wallace said.

A 16-year-old boy recently tried to stave off this penalty in a shocking occurrence over the weekend that resulted in a bloody fist fight with an NYPD officer, where he more than held his own in hand-to-hand combat. According to police reports, officers approached the teenage boy and his female companion shortly after he jumped the turnstile, and she ducked underneath one. This led to a confrontation between the officers and the teens that snowballed into a shouting match before a two-on-two brawl broke out on camera.
