DJ Akademiks goes off on Metro Boomin after the producer tells him not to post about him on his social media. Amid Hit-Boy’s new song “Slipping Into Darkness” with The Alchemist, where he named dropped Boomin among other producers, Akademiks posted the apparent response from Metro, who shared lyrics of Kendrick Lamar’s “Rich Spirit”. “Stop playin’ with me ‘fore I turn you to a song,” the quote reads.
After spotting the post, Boomin commented on AK’s IG with a request to not share anything about him. “Hey I’m politely asking 1 more time that you please not post me or anything to do with me on this page,” he wrote. “Thanks! (handshake emoji).”
