Shanteari Weems, the day care owner who shot her husband James Weems after he allegedly molested her students, opens up about the incident during an interview with WUSA 9 News.
Shantari was sentenced to 4 years in jail by DC Superior Court Judge Michael O’Keefe in February. Her husband, a retired police officer, has been charged with 33 counts of rape and child sex crimes for molesting four children, boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 11. According to reports, James is being held without bond until he goes to trial in May.
