A Staten Island man who was employed by Wu-Tang Clan as a studio worker was wrongly convicted of murder back in 1996 and spent 23 years in prison has been released after the conviction was overturned.
Grant Williams, 51, was released on parole back in 2019 and had his conviction officially overturned last July. Williams sued the city of New York with the comptroller’s office choosing to settle his claim out of court.
