Instagram star Ray Hushpuppi has been reportedly arrested at his home in Dubai after a joint operation between Interpol and the FBI.
Hushpuppi who’s real name is Raymond Abbas can thank his flexing on Instagram for why he is locked up and charged with a scam well over $436 Million dollars. They are accused of creating fake pages of existing companies and banks to redirect payments from the legit companies and people to their own accounts. Dubai police say they got alerted Hushpuppi from his Instagram account and him posting expensive cars, clothing, jewelry, and other luxury items on his Instagram page, which boasts over 2 million followers.
