Grammy Award winner Macy Gray sat down with Piers Morgan for his ‘Uncensored’ show and spoke about her views on transgender women who identify as “real women.” Since delivering her thoughts, the singer has been facing backlash.
Gray and Morgan’s discussion started with the two addressing trans women participating in cis sports, and the singer also talked about the confusion surrounding pronouns like “he, she, and they.” The singer went on to express her views of “what a woman is,” saying, “I will say this, and everybody’s going to hate me, but, as a woman, just because you go change your parts doesn’t make you a woman. Sorry.”
