Road Rage Driver Fires 14 Shots At A Man Trying To Pass Him
CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — A suspect is in custody after deputies say he shot someone twice during a road rage shooting Thursday night.
Cherokee County sheriff’s deputies responded to Highway 92 at Woodstock Road just after 7 p.m.
Deputies said a Woodstock police officer witnessed the incident and conducted a traffic stop leading them to arrest the alleged shooter.
The sheriff’s office identified the suspect as 61-year-old Wade McEwan of Acworth.
Investigators said McEwan blocked 25-year-old Jason Daxon from passing him on Highway 92 several times.
McEwan started to fire his gun at Daxon, who turned around and went the opposite direction. Deputies said McEwan kept firing at Daxon’s car and shot at least 14 rounds.
Two of them hit Daxon, who was able to pull off near a local business. Daxon was transported to a local hospital conscious and alert. He is expected to survive.
McEwan is charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct and reckless driving.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing.

Texas Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Having Sex with a Horse
In a bizarre story coming out of Texas, a man was reportedly sentenced to a decade behind bars for engaging in sexual intercourse with a horse.
Jean Marie Bugoma, 24, pleaded guilty to charges of beastiality on Wednesday that stemmed from three different instances of beastiality between June 2020 and February 2021. According to the New York Post, “Bugoma was caught on surveillance camera walking through the stables naked, according to an arrest affidavit.”
The stable owner reportedly noticed that two of his horses were injured and a vet later determined that the animals were sexually assaulted. DNA information later confirmed that Bugoma matched that of the suspect’s.

Colorado Man Reportedly Robs Bank While Still Wearing Ankle Monitor
According to reports, a Colorado man was arrested for robbing a bank while wearing an ankle monitor for a previous robbery he committed over five years ago.
Darren Connelly, 26, is accused of robbing Canvas Credit Union on June 15 while wearing an ankle monitor. Authorities say the monitor’s movement aligned with that of the getaway vehicle that was captured by surveillance cameras moments before the robbery.
“There was one ankle monitor in the area of the credit union at the time of the robbery. Furthermore, the same ankle monitor arrived in the area as the suspect vehicle and left the area at the same time as the suspect vehicle,” read the criminal complaint.
Connelly was wearing an ankle monitor due to his 2016 conviction for a liquor store robbery and was paroled this past April.

Boosie Badazz Defends R. Kelly Following 30-Year Prison Sentence
R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison in a New York federal court on Wednesday (June 29) after being convicted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges last September. Judge Ann Donnelly’s sentence was welcomed by his victims, with one woman who was sexually abused by the R&B singer when she was 17 years old calling it a “special but hard day.” But not everyone is happy with the decision.
The always outspoken (if not controversial) Boosie Badazz took to social media on Thursday (June 30) to share his dismay at R. Kelly’s 30-year sentence, which theoretically could see him spend the rest of his life behind bars.

R. Kelly Sues Brooklyn Prison After Being Placed On Suicide Watch
Chicago native R. Kelly is suing the Brookly detention centre where he’s being held, as he feels that he’s been subjected to “cruel and unusual punishment.”
R. Kelly filed his suit against MDC Brooklyn, claiming that the detention centre placed him on suicide watch after his sentencing. The recording artist’s lawyers argue that his 8th Amendment rights are being violated as “he is not suicidal and expressly told MDC officials that he was not suicidal and had no thoughts of harming himself or others.”
R. Kelly claims that he’s been staying in a single cell with no bed rails, showers, shaving, or toilet paper allowed. He allegedly has to eat meals with his hands and has been completely shut off from loved ones.
