30 years into his career Jay-Z embodied Black excellence in his verse on ‘GOD DID’, over coming systematic adversities and taking his loved ones along with him. If you don’t think he the GOAT after this, then something really ain’t right #GODDID pic.twitter.com/54frYr3UXQ

Jay Z Verse on #GODDID 🤯🤯. Will have the internet in a frenzy for days but this verse confirms a theory I had about HOV which is:
Jay doesn’t plan on making a new album he just waits until he has a feature and unloads months of thoughts into a sick rhyme scheme. pic.twitter.com/bfhyMtG9vH

50 Cent is refuting claims made involving Eminem and Jay-Z, who he says is trying to look like a “gay painter.”
N.O.R.E. said on the last week’s Drink Champs episode with Snoop Dogg that Jay-Z told him Em would only play the Dr. Dre-led Super Bowl halftime show if Fif, who responds on Instagram to nearly every claim and headline about him, was also down to appear.
“[Jay] said to me—and I’m sorry for everybody who don’t understand—and he said, ‘the white guy called for 50 Cent.’ I said, ‘Who is the white guy? Jimmy Iovine?’” N.O.R.E. recalled, per HipHopDX. “And he said, ‘No, Eminem called directly for 50 and he said I can’t do it if I can’t bring 50 with me.’”

Jay-Z went on to give a speech that mentioned a bunch of his influences, including LL, and even gave respect to figures who were pivotal in his rise to power, like Damon Dash.
Jay-Z was inducted and found people like former President Barack Obama and Dave Chappelle speaking on the brilliance of the Brooklyn rapper and entrepreneur. From there, Jay-Z spoke on how he got to where he’s at today, noting that Rocafella Records played a big part. Jay-Z said, “We was like we gonna create our own company, you know? That’s hip-hop. And we created this company called Roc-A-Fella Records.”
Jay-Z continued saying, “Shout out to Dame [Dash]; I know we don’t see eye to eye, but I can never erase your accomplishments, and I appreciate you and thank you for that. And shout out to ‘Biggs’; he’s one of the most honorable people I’ve ever met. We created something that will probably never be duplicated.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce‘s sister Solange are friends again. Solange joined Jay Z and Beyonce this past September, on their annual yacht vacation.
Solange is infamous for assaulting Beyonce’s husband inside an elevator in New York City 5 years ago. Bey’s sister reportedly found out Jay was cheating, and she attacked him.
Then yesterday images from Jay Z and Beyonce’s September yacht vacation leaked on Twitter. In the images, Jay annd Solange laughed and hugged – making clear that they are friends/family again.
Beyonce’s bodyguard seemed to recognize the “historic: moment, and he captured their embrace on cell phone video.
And in another image, the two are hugging.
Glad to see that Jay isn’t holding a grudge against Solange, who was just protecting her sister.

Funkmaster Flex has found some new fuel in his unusual and one-sided feud with Jay-Z thanks to an even more unusual source: Donald Trump’s 11th-hour spate of high-profile pardons just before leaving office earlier this year. Included in those pardons was Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, who was arrested in 1994 for conspiracy with intent to distribute narcotics. She cooperated with the US Attorney and was sentenced to five years of probation. Perez was appointed CEO of Roc Nation in 2019 after serving as COO and working with the company for nearly a decade.

DMX made an appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, and N.O.R.E. asked him about who he would do a Verzuz battle against. DMX wasted no time before saying he’d go up against Jay-Z, which N.O.R.E. and his co-host DJ EFN agreed would be great for the culture right now.
