Sunday’s exhibition match between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Logan Paul will find both fighters achieving lucrative but different paydays. As the boxing world prepares for the two outspoken personalities to clash, the amount of money each fighter is scheduled to make has become the topic of discussion.
According to SportingFree, both fighters will secure large purses and a share of the pay-per-view sales. However, Mayweather is expected to make considerably more than Paul.
In the sports website’s breakdown of the boxers’ earnings, Mayweather will make a guaranteed $10 million in addition to 50 percent of the PPV sales. Logan Paul will be paid $250,000 to step in the ring and will receive 10 percent of the PPV sales.
With the PPV price tag set at $50 and predictions leaning towards a record-breaking night, both fighters are expected to make millions more after their fight.
“There is no official confirmation from the promoters but if we go with reports, Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul purse would be massive for both of them,” the breakdown claimed. “The boxing legend is expected to bank $100 million from the fight however the things will depend on PPV sales.”
Considering the fighter’s percentages, Logan could make $20 million while Mayweather will make $100 million if 4 million people purchase the fight.
According to Mayweather, he’s already made $30 million from the upcoming match.
