Chris Tucker On Why He Didn’t Want To Film “Friday” Sequels
Chris Tucker, who played Smokey in Friday, has shared why he did not want to star in the sequels for the movie.
He said his character was a bad influence.
“Back then, I gotta tell you, one of the reasons why I didn’t do the second one is because of the weed,” he said.
“Because I said, ‘Man, that movie became a phenomenon. I don’t want everybody smokin’ weed.’ I never really told people this because I kinda forgot about it but it was one of the reasons why I didn’t do it. Because I said, ‘I don’t want to represent everyone smokin’ weed.’ I kinda made it more personal than a movie and that’s one of the reasons I said, ‘Nah, I don’t want to keep doing that character.’”
He also spoke about only getting paid $10,000 for the movie.
“It’s one of those things — it was just a small movie,” he continued. “We filmed it in 20 days. I got about $10,000 for it or whatever, I didn’t care. I wanted the opportunity. It was that small of a movie, but that was the beauty of it.”

White Rapper Murders Man On Snapchat, Gets 10K Likes
A Caucasian “rapper” from Grand Rapids, Michigan went viral over the weekend, as he livestreamed himself on Snapchat shooting another man. The video quickly went viral, MTO News has learned, and began circulating on Instagram – where it received more than 10,000 likes before IG finally removed it.
The killer was a 21-year-old “rapper” named Jacob Grygorzyk, who according to his social media profiles – is a rapper affiliated with the Gangster Disciples. Jacob recorded himself shooting a man to death on Snapchat. MTO News confirmed that Jacob was seen throwing up gang signs before grabbing the gun.

In the video, which we’ve linked to below, Jacob sets up the phone camera, so that fans could get a good view of his murderous act.
Jacob is seen talking with the victim, then he pulls a gun and chases the horrified man down and shoots him multiple times.
Luckily the video doesn’t show the actual killing of the man. But you hear him begging for his life, before the gunshots ring out.
The victim was an African American man named John Cain, who was killed while working as security at the Grand Rapids Inn. Police say he was responding to a noise complaint when he became the random target of the shooting.

Travis Scott Reportedly Went To Dave & Buster’s Party After Astroworld
Travis Scott reportedly went to an after party at Dave & Buster’s held by Drake immediately after the Astroworld Festival incident.
According to TMZ, Drake threw the party. The rapper did not know that members of the crowd had died that night.
“Travis didn’t know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party, as far as timing, this remains consistent with the fact that no one including the police had publicly confirmed the gravity of the events that had taken place,” a source told XXL.
Eight people died. Scott said he will be covering their funeral expenses. Lawsuits have already been filed against him, Drake and Live Nation.
On Monday, Drake finally addressed the incident: “I’ve spent the past few days trying to wrap my mind around this devastating tragedy. I hate resorting to this platform to express an emotion as delicate as grief but this is where I find myself,” he wrote. “My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and for anyone who is suffering. I will continue to pray for all of them, and will be of service in any way I can. May God be with you all.”

Rapper YFN Lucci Headed To Trial In May
A date has been set for the trial of rapper YFN Lucci, who’s currently in custody in Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail in Atlanta.
Lucci’s trial will begin on May 12, 2022.
The rapper and 11 others turned themselves in after being named in a 105-count indictment targeting the Bloods gang. Lucci had been freed from weeks before his May arrest after posting bond in a separate murder case.
Drew Findling, Bennett’s attorney, denied the rapper is a member of the gang. “He’s not guilty of all charges,” Findling said.
Court documents say the racketeering case filed April 30 involves, among other things, the felony murder of James Adams, in which Lucci is accused along with two others. Prosecutors claim Lucci and three gang members traveled to a rival gang area and that Lucci was driving the car when Adams and a front-seat passenger fired multiple shots. Adams was hit by return fire and was put out of the vehicle a short distance away.
