A graphic video shows the moment a woman casually approached another woman and shot her dead on a crowded New York street before calmly walking away.
The shooter, dressed in black and carrying a purse, walked up to 42-year-old Delia Johnson and shot her in the back of the head at point-blank range as she was having a conversation. After the first shot, the suspect fired several more rounds as she walked away. As the crowd scattered for safety, the shooter walked back to a white vehicle and drove away.
The victim’s family members believe the shooter followed Johnson home from a funeral and shot her out of jealousy.
“She was at a funeral earlier in the evening for an old neighborhood friend to pay her respects, and then this happened,” said Johnson’s brother, Mathis Johnson. “It was horrible. That lady executed my sister.”
Johnson was unconscious when law enforcement arrived at the scene and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
