A North Carolina man has been arrested in a cold-blooded road-rage shooting that left a mom of six dead. Dejywan Floyd, 29, of Lumberton, was arrested early Thursday on first-degree murder charges in the death of 47-year-old Julie Eberly. The arrest comes a week after Eberly was shot through the passenger door of her car as she and her husband, Ryan, were on their way to celebrate their anniversary.

Florida Man Fatally Shoots Mom After Arguments Over Orange Juice
A Florida man turned himself in to police on Sunday after he allegedly shoots his mom to death following a series of arguments involving a car, orange juice and an air conditioning remote control, according to reports.
Luis Martin Pages, 29, of North Miami Beach, called 911 on Sunday, telling authorities he “lost it” and shot his mother at a home in the Miami area, a police report said. The victim, Miriam Gonzalez, 59, was found dead at the scene.

60 People Shot, 9 Dead This Past Weekend in Chicago
According to reports, 60 people were shot in Chicago this past weekend. Nine people died as a result of the shootings, and four people were minors, with one of them being a toddler.
A 3-year-old toddler named Mekay James was reportedly struck in the back after someone pulled up behind the black truck his father was driving and fired off several shots according to police.
One incident found a 13-year-old girl being fatally shot, while two other teens were wounded in Austin on the West Side of Chicago. The 13-year-old was home around 8:30 p.m. when shots were fired, and she ended up being struck in the neck. The teenager was taken to the Stroger Hospital and was pronounced dead.
Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown spoke on the matter this past Sunday, saying, “Bullets don’t just tear apart the things they strike. Bullets also tear apart families. Bullets destroy neighborhoods, and they ruin any sense of safety in a community.”

Wild Shootout In DC Captured On Home Surveillance Video
Home surveillance video obtained by FOX 5 captures the chaotic scene during a shootout Friday evening in Northeast D.C.
The video shows numerous people shooting at each other, and panic by neighbors, starting around 6:41 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Simms Place Northeast.
The mayhem lasts less than two minutes. Some of the gunmen assist one person who was apparently wounded in the shooting as D.C. police arrive at the scene.
A police report from the incident show six people were arrested after the shootout.

Caught Lackin: Chicago Goon Shoots Up Another Man In Gas Station
At approximately 11:40 p.m. in the 7900 block of South State Street, an 18-year-old man was inside of a gas station when he was shot by another man during a verbal altercation. Police say the man was shot in the hand, hip and leg, and is listed in fair condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
